After Hours Support Specialist

The After-Hours Support Representative (Virtual Assistant) is responsible for directly providing assistance and support to patients, the patient's care team, and referring entities outside regular business hours. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Process urgent G-tube referrals received after hours.
- Assign the appropriate provider to handle the referral.
- Coordinate necessary X-rays and manage the resumption of feeding for patients.
- Update ZeeMaps with patient information for those who have been signed off for assistance with scheduling.• Ensure that all relevant details are accurately recorded and maintained. Answer phone inquiries from patients, caregivers, and medical staff.
- Provide support and guidance regarding G-tube replacements and other related issues.
- Communicate messages and important information to the appropriate team or department promptly.
- Offer support and guidance to callers regarding G-tube replacements.
- Provide accurate and helpful information to assist with patient care and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of all referrals, communications, and actions taken.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of confirming and rescheduling appointments, as well as recordkeeping practices.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve scheduling challenges considering stringent deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
